Not many people are aware of the fact that Bhagawan Nityananda had blessed Mahatma Gandhiji.
Shri Mahabala Swami, a Congress activist, had brought Mahatma Gandhiji to Ganeshpuri ashram. Bhagawan made Gandhiji sit on a bench, offered milk and fruit. When Gandhiji asked Him, “Swamiji, when do you think our country will get freedom from the British?” Bhagawan replied, “Gandhiji. getting freedom is not as easy as drinking milk. You might get Lord Ram if you chant His name but if you are fighting for freedom of the country then you should shoot Ram Baan. The most powerful Ram Baan has to be used.”
Understanding the crux of Nityananda Baba’s message Gandhiji called for Quit India Movement in the year 1942. With the slogan, ‘Do or Die’, India transformed into the battle ground ready to fight with unity for freedom. Many Indians are not aware that Gandhiji was fortunate to get inspiration, motivation and blessings of Bhagawan Nityananda. Mahabala Swami was warned by Gandhiji not to reveal the meeting and the discussion they had at Ganeshpuri ashram.
